 When I paint a multiple paneled painting I want each panel to stand on its own. Each panel must also work with the triptych design as a whole.  Here I purposely placed the panels out of order to show how they work independently. In this painting I used lots of contrasts with; complementary color palette, high contrasting values, and hard/soft edges.
